Bus diverted after 'intoxicated' teenage girl passes out

A bus was forced to divert to a fire station when a drunk teenager passed out on board.

The incident happened in Tadcaster at around 7.30pm on Monday evening.

The bus pulled into the town's fire station after the girl, aged about 17, fell unconscious during the journey.

A paramedic was called to treat the girl, who emergency services described as 'intoxicated', but she did not require hospital treatment.
