Luncheon Club: in October we had another successful lunch with 44 people attending. This month’s lunch is on November 19, at which time it will be helpful if you would let me know if you would like to bring a guest to the Christmas lunch on December 10. Of course, if you do not normally attend and would like to join us for that special occasion, please do not wait to be invited, just give me a phone call at any time. You do not need to attend Birstwith Church and there is no age limit. As usual, please contact Brenda (01423 770409), Thelma (01423 770891), or me if you are unable to attend or wish to bring a guest. Elaine Burge (01423 770274).

Birstwith Walks: the morning walk on Sunday, November 24 will start from The Station at 10am and go via field paths towards Shaw Mills and Burnt Yates before returning to Birstwith, a distance of some 4.5 miles.
