Biker injured in Harrogate collision

Police are investigating after the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision with a biker in Pannal on Good Friday failed to stop.

The 41-year-old motorcyclist from Wakefield suffered injuries to his left hand and fingers in the collision which occurred at around 2pm on Friday, April 18, near Brookside Nurseries.

His red Yamaha bike collided with the rear of a silver vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene.

Officers are appealing to the driver of the silver vehicle to come forward and help them with their enquiries.

Anyone else who witnessed the incident is also urged to contact the police with information.
