The 18 Harrogate Town players currently in contention to compete in the National League play-offs

Harrogate Town are set to return to group training on Tuesday as they begin their preparations for the National League play-offs.

A resolution to conclude 2019/20 using points-per-game ratio, with promotion and relegation retained, is currently being considered by fifth tier clubs.

If it passes a members' vote, the National League board's proposal will see top-of-the-table Barrow go up into League Two automatically and play-offs held to determine who joins them in the Football League for 2020/21.

Second in the standings when the season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, Harrogate will face the winner of Boreham Wood versus FC Halifax Town in their play-off semi-final.

That fixture, should it take place, is expected to be played around July 22, meaning that Simon Weaver has just over a month to prepare his squad for their first taste of competitive action since March 7.

Here's a look at the 18 senior players that the Town boss currently has available for selection. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to add to that number before the play-offs commence.
