The club's decision to set up shop temporarily in the town centre follows the closure of the usual Harrogate Town shop at their EnviroVent stadium because of the pandemic.

It means Town supporters will be able to buy their club merchandise in person for the first time since before the latest lockdown came into effect.

After opening on Monday, Wednesday saw special guests Harry Gator and Jack Emmett appear in person in the shopi n association with the EFL’s official Day of Action.

Commercial Street Retailers who recently announced it would be working with Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation, an official charity working within Harrogate and District, supported by Harrogate Town AFC and the English Football League (EFL) said it was great to see the club joining their friendly retail community.

A spokesperson for the group said: “We will be donating money from the sale of our new street shopping bag, encouraging our member shops to have a Harrogate Town AFC collection box and encouraging our shops to show that they are ‘Proud to be Town’; by decorating Commercial Street in yellow and black for when they go to Wembley on May 3.”

Harrogate Town’s pop-up shop will be located at 32 Commercial Street until April 18.

Opening times:

Saturday 17th April 9.30am – 5.00pm

Sunday 18th April 10am – 4pm
