House hunters can book online to view new homes

Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire’s William’s Heath development in Northallerton is now open for house hunters to book a socially-distanced or remote appointment.

Prospective buyers are invited to book an appointment with the sales executive, Lesley Jones who will be on hand to answer questions about the new homes and financial schemes available.

Lesley said: “The new remote and socially-distant appointments are working very well, and everyone is understanding and respectful of the reasons why we are doing this. It is certainly different, but it works!”

Taylor Wimpey was the first UK homebuilder to stop construction on sites and close sales centres in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown restrictions.

The site team returned to construction at the start of May, following the latest UK Government guidance and operating under a robust set of revised health and safety practices and protocols.

Situated in Northallerton, William’s Heath offers a range of two-to-four-bedroom homes coming in a mix of different materials from bricks to white render.

Lesley, who has worked with Taylor Wimpey for seven years, is well equipped to help house hunters make the right choice and is known for going the extra mile when it comes to making new residents feel welcome.

She added: “My favourite part of the job is handing over a brand-new home on the day of completion, it’s the best feeling knowing your customers are so delighted and excited.

“No day is the same at Taylor Wimpey, time just flies by. A combination of selling, checking plots, greeting new visitors, and keeping a close eye on my current sales definitely keeps me busy but I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Lesley is also supported at the development by an award-winning site manager, Leon Carling, who was recently honoured with the prestigious Pride in the Job quality award from the National House-Building Council.

Steven Ball, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: “William’s Heath is a beautiful spot to call home. Lesley is fantastic and a great asset to the Taylor Wimpey team. She works incredibly hard to build new communities and make the dream of owning a brand-new home come true.

“The location of this development is one of the aspects that makes it so desirable. Interest in properties here is high, so we would encourage any prospective buyers to register their interest and call us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“We are open for reservations and are currently selling from our nearby Thurstan Park development in Northallerton.”
