Developer branches out into north Ripon village

A Wetherby property developer is branching out into the North Yorkshire village of Hutton Conyers.

Red Tree Development – which has built 13 properties in the heart of Ripon, all of which were sold off plan and now fully occupied - is currently constructing five detached family houses, all named after local historical connections.

These are the six-bedroom Lawrence Grange, four, four-bedroom Athleston Laithe, Mallory Lodge, Horden Corner and Nunwick Rise.

Conyers Fold offers a choice of three styles and are being brought to market by the award-winning specialist land and new homes department of Yorkshire estate agency, Linley & Simpson, though its Ripon branch.

The department, which was launched only six years ago with just a single member of staff and six properties, now employs a growing team of seven and has seen its new home sales portfolio increase to over 300, with more than double that number in the pipeline.

Earlier this year it was crowned best in the UK in the residential property industry’s “Oscars”, drawing judges’ praise for the raft of initiatives it has designed to support Yorkshire housebuilders in launching their developments to market.

Each home will have a sumptuous Roux kitchen fitted by Moores Kitchens of Wetherby. The large open plan living/kitchen/family room benefits from aluminium bi-fold doors to the patio and private garden. Each bathroom and en-suite will have high quality Sottini sanitary ware.

The good news for potential buyers is that Conyers Fold properties are offered with the benefit of the Government-backed “Help to Buy” initiative.

David Waddington, Director of Land and New Homes at Linley & Simpson, said: “Red Tree Development is a local company which is quickly gaining a solid reputation for building quality homes.”

“Conyers Fold is a prime example of this. It is a collection of five, superb family homes just a short distance from Ripon and the A1. Interest has been brisk with one property already snapped up.

“One of the big pulls to live in, or near, Ripon is Ripon Grammar School, which has recently been named the best grammar school in the North of England. And being just a stone’s throw from the A1, Hutton Conyers is an ideal commuter village for those working in Harrogate, Leeds, York and further afield.”

Further details about Conyers Fold, which are priced from £575k, are available from Linley & Simpson’s Ripon branch, or by emailing [email protected]
