Nick Moody, co-founder of Newby said: “We are delighted to complete the purchase of this building which is ideal for residential conversion.

"We know that there is strong demand for apartments in Harrogate Town Centre and this site is particularly well located in the centre of Harrogate and close to all its amenities."

“''Springfield Court’ will include two and three bedroom apartments to cater for young professionals as well as families and downsizers."

Newby has completed similar projects, converting offices at Windsor Court into 27 apartments and 12 at a former coaching inn at 32 Devonshire Place.

The deal follows AQA's own move to offices at the newly refurbished Windsor House at the junction of Cornwall Road and Clarence Drive.
