Harrogate gin's boost for Tour de Yorkshire crowds!

Gin ahoy! The Slingsby Defender 110 kindly supplied by Bespoke Cars, was not only branded but driven and staffed by Harrogate's Slingsby team.

Harrogate-based artisan gin brand, Slingsby, said it was proud to have been part of the fantastic Tour de Yorkshire race over the weekend. The men’s course covered over 400 miles and an approximate 2.6 million people came out to watch the exciting race. The Slingsby Defender 110 kindly supplied by Bespoke Cars, was not only branded but driven and staffed by the Slingsby team. The team drove the 400-mile route just ahead of the male race every day, stopping at eight places to give out branded merchandise including pens and flags, to the excitable fans. Marcus Black, Joint Managing Director of Slingsby who was behind the wheel for most of the Tour de Yorkshire said “It was absolutely brilliant to be part of such a great event. We at Slingsby are hugely proud of our Harrogate routes and always keen to fly the flag for Yorkshire.
