As well as introducing Covid-safe in-house gin-making experiences, it's also issued some handy new cocktail recipes in time for Halloween.

The two experiences packages on offer at The Spirit of Harrogate Experience Store at 5-7 Montpellier Parade in Harrogate are:

Spirit of Gin experience

4 drinks per guest during the 2 hour experience

Master Distiller experience

4 drinks and 1 bottle per person, 2 hour experience

Please note, for those who are keen to enjoy a gin experience from the comfort of their own home, then a virtual experience, either as part of an open session or in a private experience with friends, is available.

Slingsby Gin has also issued a fab new mix of spooky cocktails, and punch recipes - perfect for spooktacular dinner parties that might be taking place this year.

Halloween Punch and Cocktail recipes

Slingsby Gooseberry Halloween Punch

1 Part Gooseberry Gin

1 Part Cloudy Apple Juice

½ Part Lime Juice

¼ Elderflower Cordial

Prosecco

Garnish with mint leaves, sliced cucumber and white grapes.

Slingsby Marmalade Halloween Punch

1 Part Marmalade Gin

1 Part Blood Orange juice

½ Part Lemon Juice

1 Jar of Marmalade Preserve

Prosecco

Garnish with orange slices and drizzle grenadine over the top.

Jack o lantern

10ml aperol

10ml lemon juice

20ml orange juice

25ml London dry gin

top with a splash of prosecco

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, top with prosecco and garnish with orange zest.

Spirit of Harrogate Covid-19 Procedure

We have reduced the numbers on our experiences to allow for enhanced social distancing.

There are several sanitiser stations containing our very own Slingsby sanitiser (made to strict World Health Organisation guidelines) available for use.

We have introduced table service and have implemented procedures for safe use of toilet facilities.

Although we already maintained high standards of safety and hygiene, our team will engage in thorough and regular cleaning of frequently touched areas before and throughout the experience.
