Revealed - Date for opening of new North Bar in Harrogate

Beer lovers alert! The date has been revealed for the arrival of the North Bar in Harrogate - and it's sooner than you might have guessed.

Co-owner Christian Townsley said this renowned leading Leeds craft beer bar was aiming to open in the town towards the end of January, 2016.

Since it first opened in Leeds in 1997, the North Bar has expanded to a range of six bars in and around the city.

The Harrogate branch of this well known bar will be situated on Cheltenham Parade facing the back of Harrogate Theatre.

One of the Yorkshire pioneers of the craft beer bar boom, it has built a national reputation over the last decade and is rated one of the top 10 craft beer pubs in Yorkshire by both The Guardian and the Daily Telegraph.

The Harrogate offshoot will include a new bar on the ground floor with an additional first floor customer area, primarily used for private hire but also providing additional customer seating.

Although specialising in cask beers, the new Harrogate North Bar may also be serving a range of spirits, soft drinks and pastries during the day
