New bistro and bar for Harrogate is set to open

A new bistro is opening in Harrogate next month in a hopeful sign for the town's food and drink scene and an indication the hospitality sector is gearing up to come out of lockdown.

Called Fashion House Bistro, it will open from early till late, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and turning into a bar after 9.30pm.

It is located in the premises that formerly housed Corner Haus Bar and Norse – on the corner of Swan Road and Cornwall Road.

Once Covid-19 restrictions have been further relaxed, it’s hoping to have live music, possibly once a week, and events and exhibition nights for local artists and photographers.

The person behind the venture, David Dresser, is a former fashion photographer, whose father ran a number of bars and pubs, in Yorkshire in the late 70s early 80s.
