With the lockdown rules easing next week to allow us to meet up in groups of six, or two households, to enjoy al fresco drinking and dining, we took a look at some of the Harrogate bars and pubs which will be opening their outdoor spaces from Monday, April 12, when the rules change and through the rest of that week. Where will you be going first?
1. Pitcher & Piano

2. Roosters Brewing Co
Roosters Brewing Co, on Claro Road, will be reopening on Monday, April 12. A statement on its social media reads: “After months of forced closure, we're delighted to welcome you back to Rooster's Taproom from Monday April 12th. We will be opening our beer garden SEVEN DAYS A WEEK for you to enjoy the usual wide range of beers on offer at the Taproom, as well as amazing Mexican food from our friends, Paradise Tap & Taco. Substantial meals are no longer compulsory, but that doesn't mean you can't choose to have one!”
3. The Knox
The Knox will be reopening on Monday, April 12. A statement on its social media reads: "The Knox Pub and Restaurant in Bilton will reopen on April 12, and are currently taking bookings. The Knox’s beer garden will be serving food and drink."
4. Tap on Tower Street
The Tap on Tower Street will be reopening on Wednesday, April 14. A statement on its social media reads: "Finally, after a LONG 5 months we have the news you've all been waiting for! WE ARE BACK Our beer gardens will be open from Wednesday 14th April for all your beer & pizza needs "
