First look at The West Park Hotel's new all-weather Courtyard and bar in Harrogate

North Yorkshire’s transport leader has moved swiftly to quash Harrogate campaigners’ dream of two-way traffic returning to the A61 at Parliament Street.

The West Park Hotel’s new all weather terrace has been transformed to include a retractable roof and outdoor bar as Harrogate's hospitality sector looks to return to normal and capitalise on summer trade.

Guests can enjoy the popular venues incredible food and drink menu in their stunning new bespoke heated seating made exclusively for the Courtyard.

And bookings are being taken for the exciting new Courtyard from June 26 onwards.

Alfresco dining in the UK has soared in popularity over the past few years, with more restaurants, bars and pubs racing to open outdoor spaces to meet public demand.

Not all terraces are created equally, however, one of Harrogate’s most beloved hotel, bar and restaurant is there to prove it.

The West Park Hotel, famous for its warm Yorkshire welcome, culinary delights, and stunning views of the lush green Harrogate Stray reveal their brand new ‘The Courtyard’ and the result is an impressive vision of modernity.

From the fresh teal shades of bespoke heated seating, to the beautiful tiled flooring and the living wall perfect to capture shots of your favourite moments, it is a space that’s both understated and contemporary.

The crowning jewel is the retractable roof, designed to allow guests to soak up the sunshine and protect them from the unpredictable British elements.

The West Park Hotel is owned by the award-winning Provenance Inns Group, which own a collection of gastro pubs and boutique hotels located around the north of England.

The new courtyard will also include a new bar, stocked with both local and international ales, spirits and wines.

With a strong focus on championing local produce, their food menus feature a delightful array of classic British and international dishes, as well as local ales and expertly crafted cocktails.

Guests at West Park are spoilt for choice, with flavoursome new dishes such as the Rump of Yorkshire Warrendale Wagyu Beef and the new Peppered Tuna Sashimi which are set to become future favourites.

Those looking for more of a lighter lunch may look towards light bites such as the Indian Spiced Pulled Chicken Wrap or Warm Goats Cheese & Roast Mediterranean Vegetables as they work their way through the wine and cocktail list.

The signature cocktails at West Park do not disappoint.

The Rhubarb and Wild Berry sour made with Slingsbury Rhubarb Gin and Crème de mure and The WestPark retreat made with Mount Gay Rum topped with caramel syrup are sure to crave those sweet tooth guests after a magnificent meal at West Park.
