The Latin-inspired cocktail bar has launched a new Mai-Tai cocktail, made using Slingsby Marmalade Gin.

The Marmalade Mai-Tai combines Bacardi Carta Oro rum shaken with lime, almond, orange, pineapple and Slingsby Marmalade gin for a tasty twist on the tiki classic.

The Slingsby Marmalade gin will be available in Revolucion de Cuba.

Slingsby’s Marmalade Gin launched earlier this year as a limited edition flavour in conjunction with the brands fourth birthday.

Now widely available, the zesty variant is the latest addition to Slingsby’s ever growing portfolio of flavours.

Co-Founder and Managing Director of Spirit of Harrogate, Marcus Black, said: “It’s an exciting time to be making gin in the UK right now, especially as gin is set to overtake vodka as the biggest sprits category in 2020.

"Our Marmalade gin adds a delicious twist to the traditional Mai-Tai and we are delighted for this exclusive cocktail to be available at Revolucion De Cuba.”

Clinton Ghent, Operations Director at Revolucion de Cuba, added: “We are really excited to be working with Slingsby to deliver this classic cocktail with a premium edge. We serve the Slingsby Rhubarb Gin in our bars and over the last 18-months sales for this have continued to rise – so when we first started talking about doing something with the new marmalade flavour it was an absolute no brainer for us.

"Can’t wait to see what our customers think of it.”
