Applications are now being invited to take part in Harrogate Theatre's life-changing The Big T talent show.

Held in the main auditorium of this gorgeous Victorian theatre, the judging panel for the grand final is packed with big industry names who know fledgling talent when they see it.

Featurd on The Big T 2016 grand final judging panel will be legendary panto actor Tim Stedman, TV director Ian Bevitt who directed more than 400 episodes of Coronation Street, and a secret Emmerdale star to be revealed at a later date.

The Big T is more than a friendly platform for putting your talent to the test, it can be a life-transforming event for some.

A successful applicant from a recent competition said: “The two days I spent at the theatre working on The Big T were one of the greatest times I have ever had.”

The Big T has earned a reputation for being a variety show which is truly varied, rather than merely attracting singers alone.

Musicians, comedians, dancers. jugglers, magicians, mime acts and singers all take to the stage in this highly-professional but friendly event.

But it’s less than a month until the auditions start and organisers are urging would-be performers not to miss the boat.

They say there are three ways of applying:

1 Download a form from www.harrogatetheatre.co.uk

3 Pick up a form in person from Harrogate Theatre Box Office.

The auditions will be held at The Crown Hotel, Harrogate on Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28 February and Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6.

Competitors must be prepared to attend a second audition if requested.

The grand final itself will take place in front of a judging panel and live audience on Saturday, March 19.

A professionally produced variety show. cash prizes will be awarded to the top three acts.

The winners will be selected by the judges and the entire audience who will vote live for their favourites on the night.
