Sandra Dodson, Chairman of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust said: “We hope that lots of people will be able to join us for what is the largest health event of the year across our area.

“Our teams working in communities across North Yorkshire, as well as those based at Harrogate District Hospital and Ripon Community Hospital, aim to constantly deliver high quality care to everyone who uses our many services. This is a great chance to find out more and quiz the teams about their services.

“As always, there is plenty to see and do, including visiting our interactive stands and taking a behind the scenes tour of some of the Hospital’s departments.”

There will also be a range of tours running, to show people around parts of the hospital they may not have seen before like Cardiology and the laboratories. The new Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre will also be opening its doors.

The open day runs from 3.30pm to 7pm on Thursday September 18 with no need to book.
