In Harrogate, 48,753 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and February 21, 2021 including 55,392 over 70s.
In December the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advised that care home residents should be prioritised for a vaccine to prevent further deaths, followed by over 80s, over 75s and then over 70s. This was alongside healthcare staff.
The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.
