!This project hasn’t just helped the NHS, it has helped the mental health of everyone involved and given so many people a purpose and a friendship group. There is still need in the community for both scrubs and facemasks, and thanks to an amazing donation from the local masons, we still had a significant supply of fabric."

Dr Jill Hillam from Dr Ingham and Partners was delighted with the delivery they received and said: "I have to say the service was fab and our clinicians are very grateful for the scrubs you sent to us. We have already had good use of them all, and our patients have been very complimentary too.’

Providing scrubs for hospices also enabled the group to showcase some of their creative skills too.

Whilst the hospital scrubs had to all be plain, they have been able to create fun and contrasting pockets to make the children smile.

Charlotte Walker, acting Deputy Director of Clinical Services at Martin House said: "We'd like to thank all the sewers at Harrogate Scrubbers for making such amazing scrubs for the care team at Martin House. They will helpfully make all the PPE we have to wear when caring for children and young people seem a bit less intimidating, while helping to protect our care team."

"The group also have spare PPE gowns, which they have started distributing to NHS dentists. North Park Dental Practice were one of the recipients this week and stated ‘Harrogate scrubbers have done a tremendous job in making the washable gowns. North Park Dental practice have been so grateful for the gowns.
