“Once we reopen we will make losses each month, however, this will allow us to open without this financial worry.

“Our timetable and customer journey will be a bit different for a while and everything will be pre booked.

“Swimming Lessons will return but we have had to reduce the class sizes and number of lessons significantly.

The gym reopened on Monday and swimming pool trial sessions will take place on October 5 for the reopening on October 12.

Tadcaster pool closed in March because of Coronavirus lockdown but management announced in the summer that it could not afford to reopen along with other pools.

The charity, which operates the pool on Westgate launched a fundraising bid and was successful in its Lottery bid.
