Five people died in Barnsley.

Four people died in Bradford.

One person died in Calderdale and Huddersfield.

Two people died in Doncaster.

One person died in Harrogate.

One person died in Hull.

Three people died in hospitals in Wakefield, Dewsbury and Pontefract.

Four people died in Rotherham.

Three people died in York.

The deaths are confirmed by figures released by NHS England on Saturday, November 28.

Across England, a further 289 people died.

Patients were aged between 27 and 100 years old.

The total number of confirmed reporter deaths in England is 40,197.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
