Coronavirus causes Marks and Spencer to consider temporary closures

As businesses across Harrogate are adapting to deal with the new coronavirus measures on practicing more social-distancing, Bettys is now giving customers the option to phone and order an afternoon tea for collection.

It comes after the retailer took the decision to close all of its cafes earlier this week. Its shops and cookery school are still open, as well as its mail-order service.

The opportunity is available this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday.

Customers are advised to call early to guarantee their afternoon tea as there is only a limited number available.
