Here is how you can help a Harrogate restaurant support the elderly during coronavirus isolation
As businesses across Harrogate are rallying around to adapt their services to meet Government guidelines around more social-distancing, many are doing what they can to help those self-isolating.
And Three's a Crowd restaurant and bar on West Park are doing their bit for the elderly with their new fundraising campaign.
In a bid to both keep the business afloat during these uncertain times and help others who are struggling, Three's a Crowd is offering a range of donation options which come with perks.
For £25, you can receive one of the following meals and Three's a Crowd will also donate and deliver fish and chips to Age UK North Yorkshire and Harrogate Neighbours, who will then distribute them to vulnerable people.
The meals are:
Three's a Crowd fish & chips, mint peas, lemon, tartar sauce
Three's a Crowd burger, homemade beef patty, cheddar, gem lettuce, tomato, house fries
Chicken caesar salad
Roast salmon fillet, mussel & squid fricassee, gnocchi, langoustine bisque
Spring pea & asparagus risotto
Karaage chicken or Korean fried cauliflower with espelette fries
It is also offering a more expensive package for £100 to help NHS workers. Anyone who purchases this package will be entitled to a three course meal, including a soft drink or small glass of house wine for two people. A member of the NHS Yorkshire team will then receive the same.
Mediterranean restaurant Mykonos is another business helping the vulnerable, by offering free pasta and toilet roll to 60 elderly people who are unable to get out and buy them.
