Harrogate charity set to offer essential food parcels for elderly residents
Supporting Older People has teamed up with Waitrose, as well as Harrogate Round Table, to offer a number of food parcels for residents who are self-isolating.

It said: "There are lots of vulnerable people who are struggling to get hold of essential groceries during the current lockdown. It’s a scary time for many, which is why we’ve teamed up with Waitrose Harrogate and Harrogate RoundTable to do our bit.
"This week we will be creating a number of food parcels containing essential groceries that will be delivered later this week to local residents. If you know anybody who might benefit from these food parcels, please help us spread the word."
The charity's phone line, 07535 508043, is open weekdays between 10am- 4pm to take requests for the parcels.
