A fourth patient who tested positive for coronavirus has died at Harrogate District Hospital, NHS England has confirmed.

The news comes after the NHS confirmed in a statement that nationally a further 367 people have died who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in England to 1,651.

Patients were aged between 19 and 98 years old, and all but 28 patients (aged between 19 and 91 years old) had underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed.

The number of confirmed cases in North Yorkshire has now risen to 108.
