First coronavirus death recorded at Harrogate District Hospital in over two weeks
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
According to figures released by NHS England, one patient died from the virus on July 3.
The last virus-related death previous to this was recorded on June 18.

Hide AdIt brings the total number of people to have died from coronavirus at the hospital to 81.


No new deaths were recorded yesterday, July 6, however the figures from the last five days are subject to change due to the delay in processing deaths related to covid-19.
The patient announced today is one of 36 deaths reported in English hospitals in the latest daily figures.

Hide AdThey are one of five in the North East and Yorkshire region.
The 36 deaths announced today were patients aged between 53 and 98.
All of them had underlying health conditions, apart from two, who were aged 83 and 85.
The total number of confirmed reported coronavirus deaths in English hospitals now stands at 28,940.

Nationally, this figure stands at 245,814, according to data released by Public Health England.
