Tadcaster Grammar School hails A Level results day a 'fitting celebration' for class of 2020

Tadcaster Grammar School said the Year 13 results day was a 'fitting celebration' for its students despite all the challenges they have faced this year.

The school has applauded students for their hard work, determination and resilience during these unprecedented times.

Headteacher Mr Andrew Parkinson said: “During what has been a challenging time for our students, they have shown such resilience, responsibility and good humour. We are so proud of them and wish them all the best for the future. Thank you also to all the families and relatives who have supported our wonderful students throughout their time with us, especially since the national lockdown.”

Mrs Ros Knapton, Director of Sixth Form, addeded: “We were so pleased to see our fantastic Year 13 students back in school this morning to collect their very well deserved results.
