Harrogate's Rossett School celebrates excellent A-level results

The results that have been achieved has enabled students to go on to universities, colleges, apprenticeships, and the wider world of work.
Helen Woodcock, Headteacher at Rossett School, said: “The resilience that our students have shown throughout the last two years since the cancellation of their GCSEs has been remarkable.

"I would like to put on record my thanks to pupils, staff, and parents for what was an exemplary team effort over the two years of preparation for these outcomes – preparation that included learning remotely and, in many cases, overcoming challenging personal circumstances.”
Students at Rossett School will go on to leading universities to study subjects as diverse as Medicine, Law, Biomedical Science, Mathematics, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Science and many more.
Peter Saunders, Deputy Headteacher, added: “We were particularly pleased to see parents and students physically in school this year to congratulate them personally on their achievements.”

Hide AdAmongst the outstanding results this year were those of the following students:
- Lewis Ferry, who achieved A*, A*, A*, A and will go on to study Mathematics at Durham University
- Zoe Hopkins, who achieved Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction and will go on to study Physical Education at Leeds Beckett University
- Dan Jenking, who achieved A*, A, A, A and will go on to study Medicine at the University of Manchester
