Harrogate High to be rebuilt in new scheme

- Harrogate high school is to be completely rebuilt as part of a new Government programme

- It is one of 261 schools nationwide to be picked as part of the investment

- Work is expected to start soon and it is hoped to be completed within two to three years

- The school aims to rebuild before the current building is demolished

- Bid submitted as not “economically viable” to keep patching up the school

- Principal Mr Bayston hopes to relocate as much of the school better facilities as possible to the new build.
