Vital Technology Group said it had outgrown its headquarters in Knaresborough, where it had been since 2008.

The move follows Vital’s December acquisition of Leeds-based IT firm Octari, which it plans to integrate fully over the next 12 months.

Managing director Lee Evans said: “It’s been a busy few months for Vital with our acquisition of Octari quickly followed by the relocation to our new offices in Wetherby.

“Thanks to continued year-on-year growth we were quickly outgrowing our previous home in Knaresborough and the time was right to make a substantial investment into premises that meet our needs, and give us the room we need for our continued growth.

“The Wetherby offices were ideal for us – in need of some refurbishment, which meant we could really make it a home of our own and tailor it to suit our needs, and the location just by the A1(M) makes it that bit easier for us to service our clients throughout the Yorkshire region and beyond.”

Vital Technology Group was established in 2006 and was originally on Hornbeam Park in Harrogate, before moving to Knaresborough two years later.
