Supporting the indies: Deli Bar in Harrogate can get through anything with loyalty of its customers

The loyalty of his customers has got him through everything, even Covid - well, almost.

Darren Winder said: “We had to close from March to July when everyone was working from home. Business has obviously been very inconsistent but what has shone is the loyalty shown by our customers built up over the last 15 years.”

Since then the Deli Bar, which is located on Regent Parade facing Devonshire Place not far from the Stray, has continued to offer the full menu as takeaway. It’s not been easy but the Deli Bar endures.

Darren said: “Our aim is to survive and come out the other side with new customers and old.

“One of the major challenges for the Deli Bar as been adapting to how our suppliers have had to operate.
