Senior industry figure launches new digital marketing agency in Harrogate
The former head of strategy at some of the biggest companies in the UK digital industry has gathered a team of former colleagues to launch a marketing consultancy and full-service agency.
The company, Tried&True, is based in Harrogate and is already recruiting for more employees to add to the five-strong team.
Boss Mick Tilley, whose career has included stints at the IDHL Group and Epiphany, said: “I’ve done this for the past decade, working with some of the biggest agencies in the country and in senior in-house roles and the thing that struck me was the lack of value many clients are getting.
“Change is needed and we aren’t planning on sitting around waiting for anyone else to dictate what that looks like. But for us it’s about more than that; we want to give back to the region.
“That’s why we opted for Harrogate over a city centre location.”
He added that the company had created a business incubator, called TRD/TRU, to give small businesses in the region access to marketing services in their early stages without needing to have big-brand budgets.
