The fair is usually held every October at Harrogate Convention Centre on King's Road, which is currently being used as an NHS Nightingale hospital.

The Convention Centre is expected to be out of use until at least March next year, which fair organisers say is too far into the year for them to use the venue.

Fair Director Ingrid Nilson said: “For reasons of clarity we felt it was sensible to relocate as the NHS Nightingale Hospital Yorkshire and the Humber has a contract with Harrogate Convention Centre until the end of March which is too far into 2021 to plan securely for an event there in the autumn."

The event will now be held at Tennants on Harmby Road in Leyburn from September 30 - October 3 - one of the largest salesrooms in the UK - so long as the Covid-19 situation allows.

Organiser say they are 'delighted' to announce the plans.

They added: "The Northern Antiques Fair is excited to have found a new home and the organisers look forward to welcoming visitors to this top quality event."
