Luxury hotel Rudding Park is celebrating after being crowned Spa with the Best Outdoor Facilities in the UK at the annual Good Spa Guide Awards.

Showcasing excellence in UK spa industry, The Good Spa Guide announced the winners during a virtual awards ceremony.

One of eight finalists, Rudding Park beat off stiff competition in the category (sponsored by Dale Sauna) from; Lodore Falls (Keswick) Cottonmill Spa, Sopwell House (St Albans), Champneys Forest Mere (Liphook), Alexander House (East Grinstead), Aqua Sana (Sherwood Forest), The Woodland Spa (Burnley) and St Brides (Pembrokeshire).

Peter Banks, managing director at Rudding Park said “We are absolutely thrilled The Spa has won the award for the best outdoor facilities, particularly given the current situation and the importance of the outdoors.

"The whole ethos and design of The Spa centres around the outdoors and indoors working in harmony, offering guest experiences set amongst or inspired by nature.

"We also plan to introduce some new experiences inspired by the outdoors in 2021, so watch this space!”

Rudding Park has 90 bedrooms and suites, a destination spa, two restaurants, a kitchen garden and a private cinema.

After the Spa was launched in 2017, it quickly received a number of accolades including Best Newcomer at the Good Spa Guide Awards, Best UK Spa Hotel by The Sunday Times and 3 AA Rosettes for Horto, the new restaurant within The Spa.
