The council granted planning permission for the development this week, but there were some concerns raised by campaign groups and residents.

Both Knaresborough Civic Society and Friends of Knaresborough Station wrote in support of the plans but with concerns over a lack of toilets and a “potential nuisance” from customers.
Four members of the public also lodged objections online.
Civic society chairman James Monaghan said in a letter the micropub would "enhance" the station and that rules around drinking and smoking should be introduced.
The proposals - submitted by Phil Paling - include a bar, seating area, bin store, two toilets, wash area and cold store.
