A BBC TV Masterchef finalist is to launch a new cafe-restaurant in Harrogate.

A BBC Masterchef finalist is to launch a new cafe-restaurant in Harrogate soon.

Matt Healy's Grön will open in the location occupied for many years by Quantro restaurant at 3 Royal Parade in Harrogate.

The vegan-friendly food and drink eaterie has a Scandanavian-inspired approach.

Trained at Thomas Danby Catering College, Matt worked at the original El Gato Negro restaurant in Manchester.

Grön joins two other ventures the runner-up in Masterchef: The Professionals in 2016 opened along the same lines in York and Leeds.

The talented Matt also ran the x The Foundry Wine Bar and Restaurant in the Holbeck area of Leeds.
