Major event to be held '¨for women in business

More than 1,000 businesswomen have already signed up for the '˜Be Inspired' Yorkshire Ladies Links Conference, to be held at the Pavilions of Harrogate on International Women's Day on March 8.

The free full-day event, whose main sponsor is Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance, will be hosted by former BBC Look North presenter Christa Ackroyd and will feature a line-up of motivational speakers, as well as free business workshops on topics ranging from finance and business coaching, to marketing and PR.

Yorkshire companies including Leeds United, Bettys and Rudding Park will also be exhibiting alongside some of the region’s most exciting and innovative start-up businesses.
