LEON drive-thru set to open in Harrogate this Friday

Naturally Fast Food brand LEON has today announced that it will be opening a new site on Wetherby Road in Harrogate on Friday, July 1.

The drive thru style restaurant offers guests the chance to grab a nutritious meal while on the go.

To celebrate their opening, they will be offering a free tea and LEON cake all day, all week, as well as bounceback vouchers and offers.

The opening is an exciting development for LEON as they expand their presence in the North of England.

The new Harrogate opening is the second drive-thru restaurant LEON has opened, after opening in Gildersome, Leeds in late 2021.

Heading up the team of 20 will be Alex Parkinson, a Harrogate local who was originally hired by LEON as the assistant general manager at LEON’s Gildersome drive-thru.

The restaurant features generous seating both inside and out and the seating will provide a comfortable respite for travellers taking a break from the roads.

Harrogate primary school launches urgent appeal for new playground equipment

Glenn Edwards, Managing Director at LEON, said: "Since opening our first drive-thru restaurant last year, we have been eager to grow this style of restaurant in order to bring LEON to more guests and allow them to experience LEON while on the go - something that aligns with our mission to bring naturally fast food that tastes good, does you good and is kind to the planet.

"Our opening in Harrogate is a massive achievement across all fronts.”

Guests will find the usual LEON favourites such as the Carbon Neutral Burgers, Grilled Wraps, delicious breakfast and all-day options, as well the full LEON summer menu, including Vegan Moroccan Me*tballs and Keralan Chicken Curry Rice Box.

The LEON Club app, which allows guests to seamlessly pre-order and collect, offers subscribers even more treats and discounts.

The new LEON restaurant can be found at 112 Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG2 7AB and will be open Monday to Saturday (7am-10pm) and Sunday (8am-10pm).
