Knaresborough firm snaps up Leeds rival

A Knaresborough IT service provider Vital Network Solutions, has announced its acquisition of a local competitor.

Vital Network Solutions has bought Octari Ltd, which is based at Tower Works in Granary Wharf, Leeds, for an undisclosed sum from the firm’s founder, Marcus Robinson, who founded the company in 2004.

The deal will add six members to staff to Vital’s payroll and enhance its range of services.

Both Vital and Octari offer a complementary range of IT solutions, such as support, business continuity, Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services, to small and medium-sized businesses across Yorkshire and the UK.

Octari is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner whose staff hold a range of Microsoft certifications and is well respected within the IT industry as a provider of innovative solutions based on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Vital Network Solutions is part of Vital Technology Group which was established in 2006 and includes web development business Vital Online Studio, ecommerce IT equipment provider Vital Supplies and business communications specialist Vital Telecommunications.
