Information screens for Knaresborough and Pannal stations

MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough Andrew Jones, has welcomed the news.

The screens are part of an ongoing investment in station facilities across the Harrogate area which has seen automated ticketing machines installed and the announcement of a six-figure investment in Harrogate station.

Andrew commented: “This is another significant step forward for modernising our station facilities across the Harrogate and Knaresborough area.

“I would like to thank Northern Rail for once again investing in local facilities.”

The work is to be done this year.

Mr Jones and his local team are distributing thousands of leaflets in the Harrogate area asking residents what improvements they would like to see to Harrogate station.

The results of the survey will be given to Northern Rail as they decide exactly how the six-figure investment will be spent.
