The winners of the Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards 2015 were revealed at a glittering ceremony in the town’s Majestic Hotel on Thursday.

More than 350 of North Yorkshire’s leading business people attended the tenth edition of the prestigious awards.

Series Editor Jean MacQuarrie took to the stage to announce the winners, assisted on the night by category sponsors.

The Lifetime Achievement award went to the retiring director of the Great Yorkshire Show, Bill Cowling.

Those at the ceremony were encouraged by the Harrogate Advertiser team to use #HGBiz15 to share pictures through the night, to great effect. #HGBiz15 was trending in the Leeds area on the night, kept off top trending spot only by #BBCQT.

Jean said: “The Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards are an excellent way to reward business success across our district.

“It was fantastic as always to see so many talented people from the world of business attend the ceremony to celebrate the successes of what has been an unforgettable year for our district for so many reasons.

“There are some extremely dynamic, innovative and successful businesses in our part of North and West Yorkshire, and these awards go some way towards recognising and celebrating them.”
