Harrogate Jack Wills store set to close permanently

Jack Wills has announced that its Harrogate store will not be reopening when things go back to normal following the coronavirus lockdown.

Harrogate district hospice urges residents to help as coronavirus causes 'financial crisis'

Frasers Group, which the store belongs to, has announced it will permanently close nine of its shops, including the one on James Street in Harrogate town centre.

The closures have taken immediate effect, meaning the store will not reopen after the lockdown is lifted and shops begin to open their doors again.

The other units set to close are located in Abersock, Aldeburgh, St Andrews, Dartmouth, St Ives, Lincoln, Rushden Lakes and Southwold.

It comes after five of its sites were closed last week due to “unprecedented uncertainty”.
