Between 1pm and 4.30pm, Monday through to Saturday, FHB will be encouraging children to bring in their parents, with prizes being given to youngsters in the best, ghoulish costumes, on the Friday and Saturday.

And from 5pm onwards Friday and Saturday its over to the adults, and again the venue will encouraging its patrons to dress to impress, again with prizes for those turned out in the best Halloween outfits being given on the Friday and Saturday.

Additionally, the kitchen brigade will be serving up a number of special dishes to help customers get into the spirit of the occasion.

FHB owner David Dresser said: “Covid restrictions have meant traditional Halloween parties have been shelved, hence us doing something special all week.

“Children have been hit particularly hard this year, missing out for a number of months from mixing with friends, and taking part in loads of activities.

"As they will also be discouraged from going door-to-door trick-or-treating, on both the Friday and Saturday we are saying they can come to us!

“We want to encourage children to bring their parents to the ‘Frightening Haunted Bistro’.

"The chefs certainly have a few culinary tricks up their sleeves, specially created for customers to sink their teeth into.

“Again, because of Covid restrictions, we would recommend parties book in advance.”

David Dresser added: “despite the fact the hospitality industry is under a 10pm curfew, we have to be thankful that, unlike many areas of the country, we are able to remain open.

“And whilst we initially opened Tuesday to Sunday, we have decided to now open on Mondays as well.

“We have quickly built up a regular crown of customers and are going from strength to strength. Our Sunday night acoustic music sessions are also becoming very popular too.”
