Football fans to '¨join wifi '˜revolution'
IntechnologyWiFi will also install state-of-the-art, high-capacity wifi networks across the league’s stadiums, meaning that fans will be able to access news, results and live social media, even in the stadium on matchdays. Currently, 3G wifi access is often patchy or non-existent on matchdays as the sheer volume of traffic overwhelms the network.
The wifi will be installed at no cost to the Football League, the clubs or fans. The club apps are being developed for iOS and Android users and will be free to download.
