Digital firm wins one 
of first Google awards

A Harrogate-based digital company has becoem one of the first in the UK to win a Google ‘Grow Local’ award.

ELS Media, an independent web development and digital marketing company based at Windsor House, has been recognised as one of the top agencies in the country for building successful pay-per-click campaigns for local and national business.

The company was set up with £100 in 2012 by young entrepreneur Charles Sellers. Born and bred in Harrogate, he built his first website in 1997 at the age of 11, and has not stopped since.

He said: “Being Google Partners and now winning the ‘Grow Local Award’, will set ELS Media apart from the rest. We’ve recently appoint business development manager, Andrew Strugnell, and together we’re driving the business forward. We are now looking to employ at least one apprentice and train them to be qualified experts in digital marketing.”

l ELS Media is also running a free event for local businesses to learn how to make and build a successful pay-per-click campaign. The event will be held at Restaurant Bar and Grill Harrogate on May 14 at 5.30pm.
