Closure of Post Office in Harrogate area will only be temporary

One of Harrogate's few remaining post offices is to close temporarily.

Building work means the Post Office at 40A Crab Lane will temporarily close on Wednesday, October 28 at 5.30pm.

It is envisaged that the work will take approximately a month to complete with the branch due to re-open on Thursday, November 26 at 9am.

Daniel Rooney, Post Office senior partner relationship manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
