Vinyl DJ night - and more - at feva in Knaresborough!

Feva has plenty of live music around town this week but one of the more unusual locations is the Urban Beach at Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre.

Tonight, Monday, August 17 sees the area’s most popular rock DJ, Trev brings his Porkies Prime Cut vinyl night to the ‘beach’ at Henshaws.

This charity event in the sand has a terrific line-up - not only a selection of vinyl DJs but top DJ Rory Hoy whose current single, Hey Everybody is BBC 6 Music’s presenter Craig Charles’ track of the year!

DJ Trev’s action-packed night will also include swing ball, a ‘worst Hawaiian shirt’ award, a ‘knobbly knees’ competition plus a live appearance by the fantastic Spa Town Roller Girls.

As for the rest of feva, there’s great excitement over the forthcoming Beach Party at the Urban Beach at Henshaws at Bond End.

One of the standout events with tickets likely to go quickly, the party will take place on the last day of this year’s festival this Sunday, August 23.

Starting at 4.30pm, it will include Holy Moly and the Crackers, Gary Stewart and the Tin Foil Collective and perennial favourites, the vibrant ukulele ensemble the Grand Old Uke of York.

These will all perform on the beach and there are rumours of special performers also appearing on the Henshaws pirate ship.

Tickets are expected to go quickly and the party will run through the evening with a catering and bar service.

The Beach Party is growing into the highlight event of the final act of feva and tickets are moving fast.
