A variety of classes will run throughout the day, including yoga, dance, ballet and aerial yoga, with customers only encouraged to give donations to the charity after their class.

The company will also have a special performance from a Ukulele and Fiddle Group as well as holding a Bollywood dance class in the day.

Sophie Bickerdike, owner and teacher at Go Yoga explained the charity drive was to celebrate the studio’s two year anniversary and thought it would be a ‘great chance’ to give something back.

She said: “Everyone knows someone who has been helped by the Hospice, so this is our chance to help them and give back together.”

Sophie was inspired to fundraise for the charity after her neighbour was taken ill suddenly and experienced the hospice’s ‘wonderful care’.

“The care the staff gave to him in his last few days was superb. He couldn’t have been in a better place,” said Sophie.

“All the teachers are giving up their time to come and teach the classes and we hope to see lots of new faces come along and try something new and fun.”
