UK Foos wow Dave Grohl fans after Glastonbury blow
A Harrogate tribute band to the Foo Fighters has made the national news again.
The UK Foo Fighters rode to the rescue of disappointed fans after the real Foo Fighters pulled out of Glastonbury Festival and a string of UK concerts last week when Dave Grohl broke his leg.

As reported by NME online, the response was fantastic.
Jay said: “We had to play both Wembley and Edinburgh to keep the Foos fans happy who were coming from all over the world. It may have been smaller venues but the reaction was terrific and they generously donated to the music charity we support - Given To Live.”
Last September, Jay joined Dave Grohl on stage to take over as lead singer with the Foos on the track White Limo.
The venues the UK Foo Fighters played were Crystal Clubs at Wembley and Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, though Jay and the band usually play far bigger locations these days as part of their ongoing Sonic Motorways tour.
