2014 marks the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birth - but also ten years since The Lord Chamberlain’s Men first toured the UK with their inaugural production of Macbeth.

Over those years the company has grown and developed into the country’s best and most popular open air Shakespeare company.

As always, this all-male company will perform Shakespeare as it would have been: in the open air, in full Elizabethan costume, with music and dance and with an all male cast.

The company’s founder and creative producer Mark Puddle said: “Over the last 10 years we have travelled over 100,000 miles, touring to over 200 venues in seven different countries performing over 1150 shows, so to celebrate our tenth anniversary we are enormously proud to present our most ambitious and spectacular production yet.”

Doors open at 6.30pm.
